Credit: 3 credits
The objective of this course is to provide students with a basic understanding of analytical chemistry, the science of chemical characterization and measurement. The course is an introductory part of a series of analytical chemistry courses for industrial chemistry majors. It will concentrate upon descriptive analytical chemistry and analytical methods based on chemical equilibriums which include precipitation & volumetric analysis.
CO1 Explain the relationship of the chemical and physical properties of a system to the analytical process undergone.
CO2 Propose analytial methods to monitor and solve several field problem.
CO3 Adopt the optimal analytical chemical method for the appliaction or targets.
