Global Classroom: Applied Calculus BUM2123, From Malaysia to Kazakhstan
Global Classroom (GC) is an innovative method in teaching and learning which is in line with Industrial 4.0 that transform the delivery of education from conventional to a new interactive way where two entities are communicating through online (internet) platform. Hence, Faculty of Industrial Sciences & Technology (Program of Science) in collaboration with Centre of Instructional Resources & e-Learning (CIReL), UMP and Suleyman Demirel University on 19 December 2019 at Mathematics Support Centre took this opportunity in handling a lecture of GC for Applied Calculus course (BUM2123).
A lecturer from Suleyman Demirel University, Dr Abdullah Almas started his lecture on Double Integral with some background presentation about his university and Kazakhstan as a whole. A group of student that consist of 25 peoples from Assoc Prof Dr Anvarjon Ahmedov Ahatjonovich were actively participated during the session. Other Applied Calculus lecturers were present to help smooth out the session. They are Dr Nor Izzati Jaini, Madam Siti Fatimah Hj Ahmad Zabidi and Dr Muhammad Azrin Ahmad. Quizes were given after each topics ended. We hope to have more of this activity in the future.
