LABORATORY QUALITY MANAGEMENT

Synopsis

This subject is intended to give an understanding on aspects of industrial management and its application to an organization. The topics to be covered are: Introduction to Management and Organization, Management Environment, Organizational Structures, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Industrial Marketing, Operations and Value Chain Management, Facility Planning, Materials Management, Work Study, Project Management, Financial Accounting & Analysis and Industrial Management in the New Millennium.

Course Outcomes

1. Explain the OECD GLP Principles and the ISO 17025 requirements to Laboratory Quality Management.

2. Follow Good Laboratory Practice Recognition from ISO 17025 Certification.

3. Explain thoroughly and practise the quality infrastructure that supports customer requirements for testing laboratories.

4. Read appropriate reference materials of GLP Principles and ISO 17025.
